Male Lead vocalist with bluesy and Scottish folk-y type of voice sought by Southern Tenant Folk Union...we're recording our third album here in Edinburgh next week (and if we find someone suitable very quickly they might be able to contribute to that) and will be touring behind it in 2010 after the release...It'll be a reasonably light touring schedule (maybe working every other weekend or less) taking in mostly arts centres & festivals in UK, Ireland and probably Holland/Germany again...
The ideal person would be confident on stage, charismatic and be a quick learner...more importantly though is the sound of the voice itself...that is absolutely key to the band's sound (no american accents) and also the main thing we're looking for...and in addition we'd prefer someone that can play good solid rhythm guitar too (or other instruments)...the possibility of contributing songs is there too for anyone that can write...Have a look at the myspace and see if it's of interest...www.myspace.com/southerntenantfolkunion
