Based in Edinburgh our client seeks a suitably qualified external auditor to join them as Assistant Director in order to complete a 12-month contract. This job would ideally suit those who have operated at a senior level within professional services, practice or consultancy, and are interested in working on a part time basis (3 - 4 days per week). Salary for this role is up to £50,000 per annum (pro rata).

Key responsibilities include:

- Participating in external audit reviews at partner level and reporting on findings

- Cold file review and assisting the compliance partner with the audit compliance reviews

- Supervising the work completed by the team ensuring high service levels are maintained

- Securing and delivering projects within pre-agreed budgets and timescales
