My flatmate is off to chase the southern hemisphere sun for a few months, so I'm looking for someone to come and stay in her room from the 18th January to the 31st March. The room is in a two person flat (sharing with a female postgrad) located just off the Mound and the Royal Mile, 10 mins walk from George Square. It's a big double room, with a view straight over the top of Princes St and Princes Gardens to the Firth of Forth and Fife, right down to the Forth Bridges (beautiful snowtopped hilly landscapes in winter!) The flat also has a big lounge which looks out on to Calton Hill, and a large but cosy kitchen overlooking one of the small courtyards off the Royal Mile. We have gas central heating and wireless internet, and the flat is well equipped and well decorated throughout.

I'm going to be very busy working on my PhD for the next few months, so I'm looking for someone who is clean, responsible and quiet! This would be perfect for someone who wants a comfortable environment in an extremely convenient location where they can both get some work done and relax - perhaps a visiting postgrad or researcher.

Both students and professionals welcome, though if you are not a full time student you will need to pay £90 Council Tax per month. To reduce hassle, I'm looking for someone who it would suit to stay for the whole period, until my flatmate returns in April. Please get in touch if you would like to see the flat!
