Active 5-string bass, Washburn Rb2500, Buzz Feiten tuning system (£190)
Washburn 5-string bass, model RB2500. Great condition.
Slim neck and narrow string spacing, which makes it really easy to play and very fast.
It comes with a "Buzz Feiten Tuning System" mark on the headstock, and good quality grover tuners.
Single big powerful MM-style humbucker, and 2-band active EQ. Very versatile.
String-through body. Currently with a set of DR "black beauties" coated set of strings, not cheap but sound and feel great.
The body has been refinished from a boring black to a dual gree/purple metallic sort of paint, the type that changes colour depending on the angle it's viewed at. Under natural light it's more of a very dark purple, but the green is dominant with a strong flash.
Great condition, really good bass. Very wide range of sounds, the preamp is very powerful, you get a lot of crispy high frequencies if you want even with old strings, and deep bass. This bass would be great for metal, great deep tone and very fast neck, so easy to play. Very good slap tone too, although personally I prefer a wider string spacing for that style of playing.
