Edinburgh Eagles Floorball Club is looking for new players, both recreational and competitive.

Floorball is an indoor hockey sport a little similar to unihoc and is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and is great fun. The best thing about it is that it is very easy and cheap to take up.

We play in the Scottish League and last season finished 3rd. The league is mixed, so male and female players are both welcome. There is also a ladies league which we will be entering a team into. But there is absolutely no obligation to play competitively - if you want to just turn up each week and have a hit about that's great.

Don't worry if you've never played before. We have plenty of beginners at training and we will provide you with a stick until you decide you want to get your own. And that's all you need! Yourself, indoor trainers, shorts and tshirt and the stick.

We train every Sunday at 3pm at Edinburgh Academy (NOTE: since we play tournaments on Sundays once a month training sometimes moves to another day during the week so please send us an email before you plan to come). Let us know if you plan to come down so we can make sure there's a spare stick for you!

Training costs £5 although your first session is only £2 if you've never played before! The next training sessions is on Sunday 1st November.
