Job title: Electrician
Salary: £20,000 -£25,000 dependant on experience.
Location: Based around Perth, however you will be required to travel to sites around the Scotland.

Key requirements:
•Electricians must hold the Electro technical Services NVQ at Level 3
•Knowledge of all UK regulations relating to electrical work on site
•Confident in reading and understanding schematics
•Have an interest in environmental energy technologies
•The candidate must be able to work as part of a team and be a confident individual who has the ability to work under their own initiative
•A current UK driving licence

Key responsibilities will include:
•Attending project sites to connect electrical supplies, both single phase and three phase, to the different renewable energy technologies (including heat pumps, solar thermal systems, underfloor heating, fan coil units)
•Helping to expand Better Planet’s range of products by leading on the development of installation procedures for solar photovoltaic panels (attending training courses as necessary)
•Managing all electrical aspects of our projects – for both domestic and commercial projects
•Giving technical support to other people on site with regards to the regulations affecting electrical work
•Advising across many sites – even if not attending in person
•Helping to appoint electrical sub-contractors for projects in other regions
•Developing electrical schematics with our engineers
•Carrying out all work to extremely high standards of workmanship
•Adhering to time requirements
•May from time to time need to carry out other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job
