This locum post is with Veterans First Point based in Edinburgh.
You will supervise the professional work of the Veterans First Point (VFP) peer support team; provide welfare services for veterans with complex needs; and oversee the day-to-day operations of the VFP project in the absence of the co-ordinator. (S)he will facilitate the provision of quality care and services by VFP, and as a member of the management team of VFP will share corporate overall responsibility and accountability for the overall running of the Centre to ensure a delivery of a high quality services and management of associated staff. The post holder has overall responsibility for information management solutions and ensuring the maintenance of Veteran First Point Website.
