Hey guys and gals,

Thought I’d put up a post to see if there are any others out there that have a bursting desire to see as much of this awesome country as possible, specially with summer around the corner.

If you have been in Scotland long - you will know the “summer” doesn’t last long, but it does allow for long days of sunlight within which you can pack a shit load of adventure!

I'm a 32 year old Australian Engineer that has been in Scotland for over 2 years now and certainly seen plenty of it with 36 roads trips so far, to all round the countryside. I've posted on Gumtree three times now in the past two years and always met a sound crew (with a few weirdos thrown in for good measure).

I have a company car and certainly make the most of it during the weekends.

If you are visiting Edinburgh, or even if you are from here, and you agree that the reason you are here is not just to work and settle into some routine, but more to see as much as the country can offer and meet as many cool people as possible in the process then hit me back.

I admit I'm addicted to visiting castles, but also nature landscapes, lochs, beaches, old towns and of course old pubs!

I've met many people who started as strangers and became good friends, but, as must eventually happen, move on elsewhere or back to their homeland. Now the ranks are thinning and its time for new recruits who have energy, drive, passion, enthusiasm, are easy going, speak their mind (important on a roadie), and yearn for new, unexplored lands. An interest in photography is a bonus!

Sounds like a sales pitch to join the navy, but its really just one to attract those people who want to get as much out of their life as possible.
