Facilities Supervisor
My client is a leading provider of Facilities Management and Building Services solutions in the UK. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Supervisor to based at a large site in Central Edinburgh.
Your duties are detailed below;
Purpose of Job
To assist the Contract Manager as required to manage the contracts within designated area.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices.
2. Identify any defects found and to contact and provide parts list and estimated timescale to carry out remedial works and where required to provide quotations.
3. Provide technical support to site engineers and carry out reactive repairs as instructed by administration team.
4. Complete Audits to ensure that Sutton Maintenance complies with all current regulations and guidelines.
5. Maintain the professional image of Sutton Maintenance Ltd at ALL times.
6. Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all company employees and clients' representatives.
7. Ensure the provision of a Safe & Healthy working environment.
8. Attend client/sub-contractor meetings
9. Ensure that the following procedures are adhered to as common practice
a. Works in Progress, Review and clear as required.
b. Debt on account, Review and clear as required.
10. The implementation and up keep of all contract issues, records and procedures as outlined within the company employee hand book.
Accountabilities
1) Accountable to the Contract Manager.
2) The post holder does have reporting staff.
3) This post carries no direct budgetary responsibility
Education; A good basic education is essential, with good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic mathematical skills.
Computer literate
Training; Previous post held within industry (Desirable)
Formally trained in the industry
Formal Electrical Qualification. 17th edition.
Experience (Essential) Experience of maintaining HVAC systems
Experience of general Building Management Systems
Experience of large chiller units
(Desirable) Experience of Centrifugal Chillers
Experience with lighting control systems.
Experience in contract management and facilities management.
Additional Information
Must be flexible regarding working hours.
Must be available to join a call out rota.
