This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Health Service Research and Effectiveness Unit, supporting the ongoing development and implementation of the Reproductive Health Programme, leading the development and implementation of the project on Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy.
This work is at national level, and the post holder will establish and maintain effective communication links and working relationships with a wide range of people from throughout NHS Scotland.
You will be responsible for the operational planning, management and delivery of this project by NHSQIS and monitoring the implementation and uptake of the recommendations arising from this project.
As an experienced health professional, you will be Educated to higher degree level with a postgraduate/ professional qualification in a health sciences/service-related field or equivalent and demonstrable ability to synthesise information and have a high level of technical competence in the methodology of, as well as an understanding of, issues surrounding the performance of clinical data collection within the health service accompanied by analytical skills and a good understanding of the evaluation process and measurement of change within this sphere of health care. Experience of managing health-related or equivalent projects, preferably within a health services field. Will ideally have experience in both primary care and the acute sector
