PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
You will be a waiter in our new site, a restaurant concept offering customers a wide range of hot and cold meals, snacks, sandwiches, salads and bakery items as well as hot and cold drinks at Edinburgh Airport – Airside. Life at the airport is usually 24/7, so you need to be available to work shifts which can include evenings/ earlies and weekends on a rota basis.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Creative in thinking and approach
• Quality conscious with a keen eye for detail
• A “can-do” and proactive attitude
• Ability to comply with Company policies and procedures

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Consistently drives the brand standards, championing attention to detail as well as possessing a strong passion for customer service and food and drink.
• Protecting the reputation of Delaware North Companies (UK) – Hospitality Travel Division with both internal and external clients.
• Ensure smooth and effective service of all catering delivery with the unit.
• Acknowledge and act upon individual customer needs in line with the nature of the business, whilst observing the Company policies and procedures.
• Deal with customers/ clients comments in a positive manner and take appropriate action.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed in relation to cash handling and cash collection.
• Be aware and adhere to legal and company regulations relating to the following area:
o Health & Safety at work
o Food Hygiene
o Fire and Evacuation Regulations
o Licensing Law
o Sales of Goods/Trading Standards
• Ensure all tasks requested by the Supervisor/ Duty/ Unit Manager are carried out in line with company standards.
• Undertake any other duty deemed reasonable by your manager.
• As part of the team be an ambassador for Delaware North Companies (UK) Pillars and Principles and champion the Guestpath message at all times.
