Location: Edinburgh
Salary: 25,000 - 35,000 GBP Per Year

Role Summary:

The Java Developer will work within a team who develop exciting number of projects which are constantly being updated.

The ideal candidate must have experience within a commercial software development environment. Strong software engineering skills are essential, and there must be a willingness to learn. You will also gain lots of experience in the all aspects of the software development life cycle from requirements capture, design, coding, review, testing and deployment.

Requirements:

* The role requires excellent analytical skills and ability to adopt an approach to application development that is aligned to business needs and constraints.
* You must have hands-on experience of full development life cycle working with Java.
* You must have experience working in a RDBMS environment ideally with MySQL experience.
* Knowledge of Internet technologies is essential – e.g. HTTP/S, Apache, Tomcat, Java Servlets, web development and working with object oriented methodologies essential.
