A position has arisen for a permanent Housekeeper to join the team at Prestonfield, a part of James Thomson’s Collection.

Prestonfield is Edinburgh’s highest-rated hotel, the only hotel in the city to hold a coveted 5 Red stars from the AA, alongside its 2 rosettes and recent Eat Scotland Silver Award.

Described as the most glamorous hotel in town by The Independent and as Edinburgh’s most exciting hotel, exudes opulent individual style that is unrivalled anywhere else in the city by Time Out, this is an opportunity to work in a busy and varied environment in a high-profile property.

Main Duties include:
Cleaning and servicing of rooms from 10am
Cleaning and servicing of restaurants
Cleaning and servicing other public areas till 10am
Advise Head Housekeeper of stock controls.
Advise Head Housekeeper of repairs required.
Make up laundry baskets.
Bag up dirty laundry.
Deal with laundry deliveries.
Replenish cleaning basket.
Check arrival sheets on daily basis.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as appropriate.
Ensure work carried out in line with Health and Safety and Hygiene Standards.
Carry out any other duties related to the role as may be required from time to time.
Carry out turndown

All candidates should have experience in a hotel environment in housekeeping within a 5 start hotel. Candidates should be available for on site interviews.
