Accounts Assistant
The Company
Robert Half Finance and Accounting are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant for one of our industry based clients in East Lothian. The role will be on a temporary basis initially but this is essentially a permanent position which would involve a short period of temping in the initial stages. Ideally, you will live in or around East Lothian or should be able to commute there by private transport on a daily basis.
The Role
As Accounts Assistant, you will be involved with various aspects of the accounts function including processing supplier invoices, assisting with the preparation of management information, arranging payment of petty cash and expenses, producing sub-contract payment certificates and processing the company payroll.
You should have strong working knowledge of Excel as well as good inter personal skills and a willingness to learn. Previous experience of using Navision would be advantageous but is not essential. You should have experience of working in an accounts related environment and must be able to commit to the position long term. As mentioned previously, it is essential that you can commute to East Lothian on a daily basis.
Salary & Benefits
As Accounts Assistant, you will be paid up to £19k dependent on experience.
