Our client a financial services institution requires an experienced personal tax assistant to join their Edinburgh based team. As a personal tax assistant you will ideally be studying towards a professional qualification or be keen to do so. Based in Edinburgh, you will have an assigned portfolio of clients, which you will be expected to nourish, maintain and develop excellent relationships with. Whilst you are not expected to offer an advisory service, an understanding of all regulations and compliance will enable you to assist your clients and answer all their questions and queries.

It is essential that you have experience preparing tax returns, as well as capital gains tax and inheritance tax and be accustomed to liaising with senior management and the HMRC. You must have excellent IT skills, including excel.
