Assistant Manager

The Southern Cross Cafe , Cockburn Street, Require an Assistant Manager. We are based in the heart of the city. The hours we are open are 8am-6pm Monday - Sunday.
The person we are looking for will be reliable, loyal, good timekeeper, able to manage staff and have the confidence the drive the business forward.

You will be required to carry out the following:
*£6.50 per hour working 5 days per week. (including weekends)
* Organise staff rotas
* Work weekends
* Manage Staff
* Greet Customers
* Manage stock
* Keep the kitchen and floor staff running smoothly at all times
* Be responsible for the restaurant when the manager is not there.
* Use your own initative
* Be there until at least October 2010 to drive the staff and resturant through the Edinburgh Festival
