A great opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and aspirational Breakfast Chef to join the brigade at Prestonfield.
Prestonfield is Edinburgh’s highest-rated hotel, the only hotel in the city to hold a coveted 5 Red stars from the AA and is a part of James Thomson’s Collection. Our destination restaurant, Rhubarb, is a highly-regarded dining experience which has 2 rosettes and a recent Eat Scotland Silver Award among its many accolades.
Prestonfield is a high-profile destination, described as the most glamorous hotel in town by The Independent and as Edinburgh’s most exciting hotel… unrivalled anywhere else in the city by Time Out. As well as a destination busy restaurant and the normal activities of a five star hotel, Prestonfield has a popular collection of private dining rooms and an exciting large-scale events operation too, so variety is guaranteed.
Main Duties include:
Cook and prepare al a cart breakfast from all fresh ingredients e.g. pastries, muffins, fresh fish dishes
Squeeze fresh fruit for juice for breakfast items
Prepare staff lunches
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as appropriate.
Ensure work carried out in line with Health and Safety and Hygiene Standards.
Carry out any other duties related to the role as may be required from time to time
