The Healthcare Environment Inspectorate is a new body set up by Scottish ministers, whose remit is to inspect Scottish hospitals, ensuring the highest standards of infection prevention and cleanliness. Our main aims are to reduce infections within hospitals and raise public confidence. To achieve these aims, we require Associate Inspectors to deliver our national programme of inspections within NHSScotland.
