Based in Edinburgh, Our Client a Leading Financial Services Organisation, are looking to recruit a qualified accountant to join their team as a Regulatory Reporting Accountant.  Key responsibilities for this role will be:



- Providing support to Business Unit Finance teams, in relation to forecasting activities.  This will involve working alongside BU stakeholders to understand, challenge and where necessary communicate, key assumptions inherent in their forecasts where you will provide commentary on movements within the forecasts

- Work closely with Divisional Risk and the wider Regulatory Reporting team to ensure BUs are supported with the relevant data required to accurately prepare forecasts and in turn commentaries

- Understand and communicate key regulatory reporting developments with BU stakeholders







The successful candidate will possess:



- Good understanding of the key drivers of Balance Sheet movements

- Ability to analyse complex data and draw out key drivers of variance

- Experience of forecasting methodology an advantage

- Strong ability to communicate on technical issues to stakeholders of varying seniority

- Experience of working to tight deadlines

- Experience of managing stakeholders to support financial activities

- Strong Excel skills

- Qualified accountant

- Basel II regulatory experience an advantage
