My name is Sandy Easton, and I’ve tutored Maths and Physics for the past 3 years since studying for my Maths degree. I am a cheerful and patient person, and I always aim to build my student’s confidence with their knowledge and understanding. I’ve done enough Maths to know how unfriendly it is when you get stuck!

I have a 2:1 Honours degree in Maths from Edinburgh University, and was awarded the “James Murray Brown bequest” for academic merit during my studies. I also studied Physics with Maths as a joint-honours degree until my final year.

At present I have 6 students– 4 doing Higher maths, 1 Engineering PhD student doing Physics modules, and another preparing for Police numeracy exams. Aside from private tutoring, I have been employed by Castlebrae High School to tutor after-school workshops.

I am CRB Disclosure certified, and sessions can be in the student’s home (central Edinburgh) or in the city library (given notice).
