We are a bilingual family (French/English) looking for help (assisting us with childcare and household chores) in exchange for spacious fully equipped and recently renovated accommodation in central Edinburgh (Bruntsfield / Merchiston) on the second floor of a large Victorian house on a quiet street. The flat consists of 2 double bedrooms, kitchen/ dining room/ living space, shower-room. The flat and position is perfect for one to three people. All bills and wireless internet included. There are many amenities nearby: shops, cafes, cinemas etc., within a 5 minute walk.

One person would work a total of 22 hours (11 hours on Fridays and Saturdays) taking care of a 13 month old baby and a 3 year girl. Two people would work a total of 26 hours (11 hours on a Friday and Saturday, 4 hours in the evenings during the week). Helpers are expected to provide up to one evening baby-sitting session per week. This is an unpaid post but we calculate the hours on the basis of similar accommodation rental in the area.

You must have experience taking care of small children. French speakers preferred, but qualified non-French speaking applicants will also be considered.
