Job Description

Kitchen preparation, simple cooking & serving food. Preparation of vegetables & snacks, transporting & serving meals. Washing up and clearing away equipment. Cash handling.

Requirements

Elementary Food Hygiene
Good customer service skills
Cash handling
Ability to recognise, with training, the importance of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety
Previous catering experience beneficial

Responsibilities

Basic preparation of food and drinks
Simple cooking of food (including the heating and/or reconstitution of convenience foods and vegetables)
Transportation and serving of meals (including the packing and unpacking of food into containers)
General kitchen and dining room duties (including washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables)
Cleaning of the kitchen, surrounding areas and equipment
Operating specialised beverage equipment i.e. coffee machines
