ASA Recruitment's client is an established financial services provider based in the heart of Edinburgh.
Job Profile:
The position is for a Reconciliations Assistant.
The role will involve the delivery of an accurate ledger position at all times and being able to communicate effectively with others to resolve anomalies.
Key duties will include:
- Reconciling movements between general ledger and bank accounts, on a daily basis.
- To analyse, investigate and facilitate the resolution of reconciliation differences, working with business areas to resolve differences.
- To highlight difference of concern to the reconciliation team leader.
- To reconcile investment funds on a daily basis.
Candidate Profile:
You will have excellent PC skills. Be trusting and able to work as part of a team and under your own initiative. You will have good problem solving skills and always strive to achieve excellence. A sound knowledge of investment funds will be beneficial as well as previous experience within a reconciliations team. the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and have an exceptional eye for detail are prerequisites for this position.
