Eden Scott's specialist Accountancy & Finance division is currently seeking a Qualified Internal Auditor to join their clients UK Internal Audit Team to assist with the evaluation of the framework of internal controls and the development of Internal Audit.

Duties will include:

* To plan, conduct and report on audits according to established internal audit standards, within agreed timescales and to agreed quality.
* To critically evaluate and interpret evidence, identifying root causes, gaps and limitations.
* To provide management with independent assessments of the soundness of risk management strategies and practices and information used for decision making and reporting.
* To deliver timely audit reports with high quality findings presented that require minimal management review and to deliver findings, recommendations and messages with sensitivity and tact.

Person Specification:

* Recognised accounting or internal audit qualification such as CA, ACCA, CIPFA or IIA essential.
* Committed to undertaking further learning and training experiences and assist in developing others in the department.
* Financial Services experience is essential
* Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with all levels of the business.
* Experience of working within continuously changing environments
