Principal Engineer urgently required for 3-month contract with leading consultancy in Edinburgh to work on Wastewater Design Projects.

Presently my client is engaged on a number of Water Environmental projects throughout the UK. They are currently seeking an experienced Engineer to act in a Principal/ Senior role to support and enhance an existing and expanding Wastewater team for their Edinburgh Office. 

You will be technically and commercially responsible for the feasibility and design of Wastewater projects as well as use your prior experience to solve problems outside of the traditional Wastewater sector when they arise. You will also provide innovative new ideas in other sectors that have water dependency.

Their current work within the team is primarily with Scottish Water as part of CAPEX 1 & 2.  The successful candidate will have responsibility for the Management of the production, quality and delivery of models, design calculations, specifications, drawings and design HARA's for water/ wastewater related projects. As part of your role you will assist in managing and developing engineers, graduates and technicians within the team. You will also develop good working relationships with both existing and new clients to help secure further business.





This contract will be for a minimum of 3-months with the view to extension for the right candidate.



You will be degree qualified within a relevant field including Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.

You will have prior Wastewater design experience working within the UK.

You will ideally be Chartered, however candidates with demonstrable wastewater design experience will be considered.
