Ever thought what it would be like to loop the loop or fly a plane upside down?

If you answered yes to any of the above The Go Loopy Challenge is for you. You can take to the skies for this truly once in a lifetime experience and help The Cyrenians in Aberdeen hit new heights.

THE AIRCRAFT

The Extra 300 is a state of the art high performance aerobatics machine and the flying equivalent to a Formula 1 racing car. The passenger sits in the front seat with the flying instructor in the back. It is a former military training aircraft used by 10 Air Forces around the world and has mid level aerobatics capability. Most importantly this aircraft is built for FUN and is a joy to fly.

THE AERIAL ACTION

All flights are tailored to the individual from gently mild to the wildly exciting, so if you are a first time or nervous flyer or the ultimate adrenaline junkie, the aim is to bring you back down to earth with a HUGE smile.

All flights start with an introduction on the effects of controls and how to fly the airplane and then moves on to the especially exciting part……..The Aerobatics. You will be given instructions on how to fly the aerobatic maneuvers (loops, rolls and stall turns) before being asked to perform these by yourselves. Experienced thrill seekers can take things to the max with some very extreme aerobatics.

LOCATION

The Cyrenians Go Loopy Challenge will take place on the weekend of the 5th and 6th of September 2009 at Perth Airfield.

Bus travel to and from the venue will be provided from Aberdeen along with Lunch and entertainment at the Airfield.

ENTRY COSTS

Entry costs £100, this covers the cost of staging the event and is therefore non-refundable, and this will ensure that all the sponsor money raised will support The Cyrenians.

We also ask that all participants sign up to raise a minimum of £1000 sponsorship. All participants will be given one to one fundraising support.
