Up for sale is my Honda Civic 1.5 ls vtec. This is the single overhead cam Vtec producing 128 bhp. It is the 3 stage vtec meaning; in the low revs up to 4k revs the normal cam operates, then from 4 - 5.5k the mild cam comes in, then the "wild" cam up to the 7k redline.

This is the facelift 98 model which unlike the earlier ek models has air conditioning, smaller steeing wheel, darker centre dash and a few other small differences. This car also has the "Economy mode" which means if your are below 90mph,(which l always am) and not accelerating to much the car will run on 12 valves, and will switch to 16 valves when you accelerate harder and the power is needed in turn saving petrol. Ive found i can get around 500 miles on a full tank if not more which is amazing

Now on to the spec of the car. It has done a genuine 44000 miles. Now l am always suspicious of cars which have done mega low mileage as l know there are a lot of clocked cars out there, however l made sure before l bought the car l had proof. l have every MOT slip from when it left the Honda showroom. It was originally owned by an old lady years ago hence the low mileage. You can also tell by how clean the engine/ underneath of the car. It is immaculate and still looks pretty new. Now when l got the car it needed a new clutch. l have just spent 100s fitting an oem excedy one which are the best you can get.

Inside the car the seats dash etc look like its just come out the showroom. looks immaculate and thats no word of a lie 98 spec seats so no dodgy patterns like the earlier ek model. No wear at all on the steering wheel or anything else, even the ashtray! All electrics work, no stick windows or anything. Has got a sunroof aswell.

Mods wise;
Height adjustable FK coilovers (brand new)
RCS custom Backbox (quiet until vtec again new)
Inductuion kit
Civic coupe em1 wheels (2 yokos on front)
Mesh grill
short shift (makes massive difference)

Theres 12 months mot and taxed till dec but this can be included in the price if it goes for what im wanting. An all round mint car which has thousands of miles and years left in her. quicker than you would expect aswell.

Only bad points are the garage that changed my clutch forgot to change my thrust bearing. there not expensive just cant pay for it at the mo as ive just been made redundant hence the reason for the sale... gutted!
