The Edinburgh Samba School are running a new series of beginners/improvers samba drumming course starting on Tuesday 6th October in Tollcross Community Centre from 7 - 9pm.

Loud and lively, energetic and dynamic - The Edinburgh Samba School is a regular and popular feature of community festivals, events and clubs in Edinburgh and elsewhere in Britain and Europe. We are a colourful samba percussion and dance group, specialising in authentic rhythms from the flamboyant carnival culture of Brazil. Samba is the heartbeat of this culture of celebration, street parties, dance and fun.

If you want to join in, and fill your winter full of Brazilian beats and music, come along to our beginners/improvers course. The course will cost £60 for the 10 weeks and this includes a copy of the Edinburgh Samba School CD. Everyone is welcome, all the instruments are provided. The course is always popular, always fun, with the chance to play a gig at the end.

If you fancy trying it out before committing to the full 10 weeks you can pay only £5 for the first session and pay the full amount at the second session.
