Bmx 2008 Mongoose Menace : Swap for mountain bike
Any decent mountain bike considered.
MTB must at least have front suspension and aluminium frame (e.g. Trek 4400). Not much to ask these days, they're everywhere. I just need something that would survive Glentress in dry weather.
The BMX...
... is in excellent condition, with no rust problems.
... has recently been serviced and given a clean bill of health at Leith Cycles.
... has great tread on the tyres.
... has stunt nuts fitted all-round.
... has handlebars that go all the way round.
... unlike the current model (which costs £180-200 new), has a front brake AND a proper rear brake with a clever plate on the headtube to operate the rear brake even when the handlebars rotate right round.
... is white with black forks and rims.
