ASA's client is a well established international manufacturing company with two sites in Scotland.

They now seek to recruit a part qualified or qualified by experience accountant with a minimum of 3-5 years manufacturing industry experience for a 12-18 month contract role.

Duties will include

Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial results

Preparation of budgets and forecasts

Capital expenditure cost analysis

Control of expenses and cost overruns

Ensure product standard costs reflect manufacturing costs

Liaise with departmental managers regarding budgets

The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller. He/she will have experience of developing and preparing budgets, forecasts and project accounting, familiar with standard costing, a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
