We are currently looking for Java/J2EE Technical lead with experience of 10+ years of which 4–7 years of hands-on development and 3-4 years of experience in design/architectural responsibilities. The individual should be able to perform following functions in a onsite/offshore engagement model.


- Review business requirements
- Create technical design confirming to the requirements and the overall architecture
- Task allocation and tracking of development activities
- Technical guidance to a team of software developers
- Identify risks on the project and escalate them to the project manager
- Layout the build and deployment procedures required for the project and document them
- Interact with the client for clarifications during development
- Perform code unit test case / results reviews as required

Responsibilities:
1. Advanced Java/J2EE skills
2. Application Architecture/Design experience (Certification would be preferred but not mandatory)
3. Experience of various design patterns
4. Hands on experience of application development and build activities on various application servers like WebSphere or WebLogic
5. Working in SEI/CMM level compliant process framework
6. Exposure to Global Delivery Model - predominantly offshore
7. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
