We are a happy outgoing family looking for an aupair to look after our three children (7,5 and 3) whilst their mother works 3 days a week in Edinburgh. We have had two great experiences with live in aupairs over the last couple of years but are happy to consider both a live in or live out position. The two girls are at school for most of the day and the little boy is at nursery for a couple of hours every day. All three love being outside as much as possible, especially as they have a rabbit, 2 guinea pigs, a dog to look after and a big garden. We are in the heart of a very pretty part of East Lothian, 2 miles from Gifford (where their school and nursery is), 4 miles from the market town of Haddington and 30 minutes by car or train from Edinburgh. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by lovely walks and beautiful beaches. When the weather keeps the children inside, the girls enjoy painting, coloring and making things, while the boy is happy doing jigsaws and playing board games. On the two days that the mother is at home, we would appreciate help with light housework for only a few hours on those days. We would like a couple of nights babysitting included but it's not always taken up. It is essential that you can drive (we will provide you with a car) and have previous experience of childcare, fluent in English. In return we pay above market rates, provide a comfortable and happy home with an ensuite in your room, DVD etc, and the use of a car. We look forward to hearing from you.
