Location: Whitecraig near A1 bypass and Dalkeith /Tranent/ Musselburgh, Port Seton and Bonnyrig area. Applicant must have own car to travel to rural village workplace location- poor bus service.

Personal Assistant required to assist and support cheerful, educated gentleman (in his 50’s). You will even, enjoy coming to work...
The role includes personal care, cleaning, cooking and domestic chores.. Therapeutic massage skills beneficial.
DET Training will be provided.
The employer is flexible and applicants should also be flexible for this interesting and varied post which is in a pleasant working environment. Must be OK with a retriever Dog. Experience with dogs or dog training is helpful, as is PC skills

Personal qualities:
Must be honest, flexible and genuine. Experience is not essential but you need to be reliable with a caring attitude and willing to listen and learn and develop your own skills and ability as a personal assistant, care worker.
Alternative therapy experience is most helpful, as is the ability to type, take charge and tidy and clean home. Fair degree of autonomy will be given after induction.

Experience of training or working with dogs advantageous.
Part time shift work: between 10 - 18 hours per week.
