The metalmorphosis 10:21 league was created in 2008 by edinburgh based team pilrig thistle www.clubwebsite.co.uk/pilrigthistle & it's main sponsor metalmorphosis www.metalmorphosis.vze.com.

This league is intended to be a warm up tournament for pilrig thistle in the lead up to the them entering a "Powerleague" or "World Of Football" 5-a-side league later in the year.

We are looking for 2 teams of a FUN/INTERMEDIATE Level to compete against who would be commited to taking part in this mini league tournament.

As previously stated this is purely to give our team a few warmup matches, as well as an opportunity for our sponsors to reach new people and also give an opportunity for any teams that take part the chance to potentially win a trophy.

the league will be contested in the traditional grassroots football style that is jumpers for goalposts.

We hope to Kick off on Friday 4 July 2008, where we hope to have a total of 4 teams taking part in the debut season of the metalmorphosis 10:21 league.

Each week 2 games will be played on the 2 five a side marked pitches that exist within Pilrig Park. Pilrig Thistle will play on one of them against an opponent & the other 2 teams will play against each other on the other marked pitch.

Teams will play each other twice giving each team a total of 6 games.

2 points for a win, 0 points for a loss, there are no draws in our league at all.

first team to reach 10 goals marks half time, first team to reach 21 goals is declared the winner and awarded 2 points.

A trophy (see picture) will be available to the overall winners of the league.

That winning team will then be expected to defend this trophy the following season in a potentially revised bigger league - depending on the success of this first season.
