Eden Scott's client, a leading manufacture of IP, Video solutions for the security market, has a requirement for a C++ Software Engineer with good problem solving skills to improve existing products and have a significant impact on new product development.

The ideal candidate will have commercial experience of the following:

* C++ programming on Windows and/or Unix
* Developing user interfaces / GUI
* Developing multi-threaded software
* Configuration management tools
* Other software quality tools e.g. BoundsChecker, Rational Purify Suite

Some exposure to the following would be an advantage:
* Microsoft Visual C++ and MFC, COM, STL
* Network communications
* Video/CCTV/Security industry experience
* Video Compression
* Use cases and UML
* Software Optimisation
