Eden Scott's client, a leading investment company based in the centre of Edinburgh, is currently looking for a SQL Server Application Support Analyst to join their existing team in a customer-facing role.

This position will involve the support of around 40 in-house and 3rd party applications mainly built on MS SQL Server architecture. You will take responsibility for support calls assigned from the helpdesk and implement solutions within defined service levels.

With excellent communication skills an ability to manage and prioritise your own workload you will have strong MS SQL skills including experience of interrogating databases and creating stored procedures.

Previous experience of supporting 3rd party Investment Management applications like capstone, Statpro or pages would be advantageous.

This position will also involve the participation in small development projects therefore some exposure to C#, VB / ASP.NET and Crystal Reports would be useful.
