Our client a top CA firm in Edinburgh, requires an experienced auditor for the position of a newly created role as audit senior. As audit senior, you will be charged with your own assigned portfolio of clients, which range both is size and sector, with which you must take this work from the planning to completion stage. On particularly large audits you will have jurisdiction over trainee auditors/accountants, delegating and reviewing work where appropriate, whilst reporting into the senior audit manager and partner.

The ideal candidate must have UK audit experience and be a finalist or indeed qualified CA or ACCA. A background within the profession is a pre-requisite, however the size of the firm is of little consequence.









Skills:



- UK audit experience

- Planning and completing small to medium sized audits

- UK GAAP and IFRS experience

- Client management

- Accounting experience is also advantageous as you will prepare statutory accounts

- First rate communication skills

- IT literate - Excel exposure is required
