We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual to work 5 mornings a week Monday to Friday as a Nursery Nurse. The candidate would work as part of a team supporting the provision of Pre-school care and education to children aged 3 years – school age following the Curriculum For Excellence.

Applicants should have relevant working experience with young children and hold a childcare qualification of SVQ3 (or equivalent) or be committed to gaining the relevant qualifications.

Wardie Nursery is a Pre-school Nursery that is registered by the Care Commission and is in partnership with Edinburgh Council. It is a member of the Scottish Pre-school Play Association (SPPA) and strives to be an Equal Opportunities Employer.

Hours per week: 19.5 hours
Monday 8.30 – 2pm
Tuesday - Friday 8.30 - 12

This is a 12-week temporary contract with a view to becoming permanent.
