Goose Green HomeCare Ltd has been providing high quality care to elderly and disabled residents in the East & Midlothian areas since 2001 and in the last year, our dedicated team helped care for over 200 clients.

Due to our continued expansion, we are now recruiting Relief Care Workers to help deliver our high standards of care by providing a mixture of social, domestic, personal care and support to our clients in their own homes.

If you’re looking for a career change or have no care experience this is a fantastic opportunity to embark on a rewarding career, in which you can make a real difference. Specific experience isn’t essential – what counts is that you have good communication and observational skills, a caring responsible attitude and empathy with our clients.

You must be flexible and available, at short notice to cover for staff absences and we are looking for relief staff who can cover either mornings, evenings and/or weekends.

In addition, you must have a full driving licence and access to a car. A satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Scotland also a requirement.

In return,we offer excellent working conditions including full induction training and ongoing training & support. The rate of pay is £7.00 per hour and time +1/2 is payable for weekend working. (An increased rate is applicable if you hold SVQ Level 2 in Social Care). A Mileage allowance is also payable for travelling between clients.
