Hi there

This is a genuine request to ask for readers to take a look and see if they have any old ipods that they have lying around in a drawer somewhere that they no longer use as they've probably upgraded.

The reason for asking is that I have just returned from Cuba and for 2 weeks I let the staff borrow my ipod so they could listen to some music. Ipods are not a luxury that many Cubans can afford as the wage is £10 a month out there so they have bigger priorities.

So I'm asking you, please could you just have a look and let me know. I will happily collect. I'm also trying to get hold of docks for charging.

Anything you can offer will make one of these people very happy when I return next year.
