This role is within the corporate department of a top 70, full service international law firm with offices in England, Scotland and Dubai. We add value by providing companies, public sector bodies and individuals with legal advice that is commercial and practical, enabling them to make well informed decisions. With over 100 partners and 280 fee earners we have dedicated specialists in the areas of corporate, banking, commercial property, social housing, construction, employment, dispute resolution, shipping and private client & financial services.

Key Purpose:
To assist one of the corporate partners (and others within the team) in discharging his role, such role including duties to develop and service business for the corporate department. Providing assistance in respect of client matters and to other senior in-house personnel as required.
Key Accountabilities:
Specifically but not exclusively
Typing
Diary management
Executive and client communications both written and verbal
Client facing on occasion
Collation of papers and file management
Passing on of instructions
Confidential handling of management and employee information
Administration of feeing processes
Assistance with administration of business development matters
Dealing with mail
Dictation management
General organisation including travel and events
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Experience of working as a dedicated PA at senior level
Fast, accurate audio and copy typing (min 70 wpm)
Very good communication skills ability to communicate effectively with clients on phone
Proactive, reliable and adaptable attitude
Good team working skills
Ability to prioritise workload and to use own initiative
Attention to detail and accuracy
Flexibility ability (and willingness) to work outwith normal working hours when required
