There's people contacting folk in this section saying they interested in doing a home swap yet their properties are not on the home swap section and when you ask them do they want to see pics first they not interested, instead they interested in just viewing the property, which they never attend the viewing.

What I have learnt from this is (a) check with their landlord that they are indeed in existance (b) check their electoral roll that they are in existence © insist to visit their place first saves you cleaning your property for the viewing (d) pay an unexpected visit to their property beforehand to check to see if fthey are indeed who they say they are (e) check an ISP address as well, may help to verify who the the person is. I know it seems overkilll but you need to protect your property and family, afterall they have your personal details and you may not have their correct ones.

Beware of emails from a chap who has a flat in a listed buliding in commercial street and a south american living in pfeffermill road - my experience of them are they both timewasters. Could be they probably the same person.....
