Bright Sparks is a registered charity that provides on-going support for both parents & children with severe and complex special needs. Bright Sparks operates in the Brown Building at Gorebridge although it covers the entire Midlothian district and is the only facility which offers such support. It operates on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday morning. The playgroup provides a range of facilities, equipment, soft play, light sensory experience and specialised toys. We try to offer a place for each child immediately as this offers support for the family right away. Two of the ongoing expenses for Bright Sparks are providing transport for the families and also paying for a weekly session of music therapy. The money raised from this event will go towards paying for these weekly running costs.
