Part time administrator the Forest Cafe

Can you write a good e-mail or grant application? Are you good with numbers? Do you have admin skills and the necessary qualities to deal with a diverse range of people and situations in an ever-changing environment? The Forest is Edinburgh's only free arts, events and community space. We are looking for someone who understands the Forest's aims and ethos; someone who can deal with the many and varied admin tasks required to run an independent, self-funded charity. If you're looking for a challenge and would like to work in a volunteer run, not-for-profit organisation, then this may be the job for you!

Job Description

General administration tasks needed to run a charity
Finance – preparing accounts, payroll, cashing up and banking
Grant applications for projects around the Forest
Hall hire – co-ordinating events in our hall
