We are Barca-Milton 97 Amateur Football Club.

We are nearing a great step in the clubs history where we are launching our first ever youth team, In the short term you would come in on a trial basis helping to coach the adult team along with our newly appointed manager and assistant manager.

If your the right person for the role, you will assist myself (Former amateur manager/Committee Chair Person) in setting up the under 19's team, and trying to source established younger age groups who would be willing to affiliate to our club in return for a structured support where it may not already exist at these clubs.

Our aim in youth football is to have a fully operational youth set up for season 09/10 (Initially recruting trialist in October 08 working towards trials in January 09. This is a long term project so will need someone with experience and committment. Essentially by the end of our current 5 year plan (which we are entering year 2) we aim to have a club with a real community feel where players will want to progress through to amateur level (Ideally we will provide a base for players to play at a higher level) The amateur team has long term ambitions to go junior or senior and this development would allow us to take a step further towards that goal.
