Hours: 40 hrs per week, 5 days out of 7, combination of day and evening shifts, 7am-3.30pm/ 3pm-11pm

Description:

Well-presented, friendly personnel required to join the Reception team within this small but exclusive 5 star property. As a member of the Reception team you will be required to carry out the following duties within this luxury 18 bedroom property:

Working alone on a reception shift you will be responsible for answering all incoming calls into the hotel. Dealing with guest enquiries both over the telephone and in person at the desk including taking accommodation and restaurant reservations
Ensuring the smooth running of the reception desk, maintaining a tidy and organised working area.
Meeting and greeting all arrivals at the hotel and liasing with the butler team to ensure their smooth check in
Adhearing to AA Standards at all times when interacting with guests & carrying out reception duties.
Cash handling and compiling daily financial reports.
Dealing with guest enquires regarding visitor attractions, restaurant reservations etc in the absence of a butler or when requested by guests.

The ideal candidate for this job will be able to work unsupervised, take pride in their personal presentation and show a great deal of enthusiasm for working within a customer focused environment. Previous experience within the luxury hotel sector is desirable although not essential. This position is ideal for anyone who wishes to gain experience at a 5 star level with a view to progressing to a hotel management position in the future.
