Fast growing Edinburgh Rugby Club seeks Assistant Coach Asap
Broughton are an enthusiastic & progessive Rugby Club with 2 Men’s Senior XV, a Women’s XV and a long-established Mini-Rugby section. Together with being a founder Club of the Edinburgh BATS Rugby Foundation, which caters for Youth Rugby in the North of Edinburgh, Broughton are one of the games truly all-inclusive and friendly clubs.
We currently play in East League Division 1 and train on Tuesdays & Thursdays at Wardie Playing Fields, Granton Road. The Club is very ambitious with progressive objectives under our 5 Year Development Plan and with the re-introduction of a 2nd XV, it needs a Backs / Assistant Coach to join its Coaching Team.
Desirable Qualifications: Becoming a rugby coach is a great option for a lover of the game. This vacancy is a Voluntary Position, seeking applicants who have an interest in and a passion for grass roots rugby together with a sense of ambition and good people skills.
Broughton Rugby actively encourages and funds all it’s Club Coaches to attend the wide range of Coaching Courses offered by the Scottish Rugby Union, from Foundation Level for Mini coaches (primary school age) through to the new UKCC programmes at levels 1,2 and 3.
Time Commitment: Tuesday & Thursday training nights, Saturday matchdays.
