Financial Assistant
The Harmony Employment Agency requires a financial Assistant to join our small and friendly team.
You will normally be required to work at 1 Coates Place, Edinburgh, EH3 7AA.
Your normal hours of work are 40 per week, 9.30am. To 6.00pm. Monday to Friday with appropriate breaks each day. £8 per hour to be reviewed after 3 months.
DUTIES
Processing weekly payroll for up to 100 employees using Iris software.
Payroll duties such as end of year p14 and p35's.
Processing p45's and statutory maternity / sickness payments as required.
Processing weekly invoices.
Responding to any invoice / payroll queries.
Maintaining accurate records of accounts and purchase ledger using sage software.
Working within weekly time restraints.
The role will involve some administration such as data entry, answering calls, taking messages and greeting agency members who visit the offices.
ESSENTIAL
Candidate must be confident and familiar with sage packages.
Previous relevant experience and training.
Confident of carrying out general office duties such as communicating via email and fax.
Willing to undertake training as necessary.
Excellent communication and people skills.
