The Company:
Working within the rail department of a well known and respected Infrastructure Division, a vacancy exists for a Senior Estimator based within its regional office in Grangemouth, Scotland.
The Role:
The main duties of the job will include:
* Production of accurate cost estimates for both direct and indirect costs, using prices consistent with current market conditions.
* Preparation of subcontractor and material enquiries, analysis of returns for compliance and use in the estimate.
* Assess resource levels and production outputs to compute work costs
* Liaison with other members of the Work Winning Team to produce successful submissions.
Candidate Profile/ Experience
* Computer aided estimating software is essential and planning skills would be advantageous.
* Heavy Civils and Rail Civils experience. (Not PWAY - Not Track)
Qualifications: The successful applicant will have had a minimum of 10 years estimating and site experience and a minimum qualification of an HNC in Civil Engineering (or related).
