I'm looking for a long-term place to move nearer to the city centre. Ideally anywhere close to both the Edinburgh bus station and Waverley, or somewhere between Haymarket and West End, or anywhere within a short walking distance to these places.

It's mainly for the commuting purpose that I am looking to move. I'm currently living in Meadowbank area, which isn't at all convenient to my increasingly busy schedule.

A bit info about myself: I'm a laid-back, non-smoking, friendly, easy going, quiet Chinese guy, late twenty, studied design in Edinburgh and now have a full-time job working out of town, and keep myself busy during the work after work as well. So during the week, I am not likely to be in the flat before 8pm, leave early in the morning, and then have some good rest over the weekends. A quiet flat with chill-out flatmates that won't have parties every night / weekend would be great. Though I'm very up for occational social gatherings, or night-out.

I respect others and am considerate, would like to expect the same from others too. I'm a big music fan, so there will be music (not noise) in my room, it won't be loud however. I like anything cultural, and I am also a bit of geek. I can have decent communications, and would like to treat the flat a place I can make some good friends out of, rather than just a place to sleep.

I don't have an exact date to move, but anything before New Year (perhaps even Jan / Feb) would help to ease my schedule. I'm looking for paying something around or less than £350 per month, including everything. Also seeking nice friendly open-minded flatmates. I'm looking to rent the room for at least a year.
